Went to my aunt's kampung today.
It was rambutan season.
Had to wake up at 3ish and make our way there.
Fun trip.

It was hard accepting the fact that i have ants crawling all over when i pluck the fruits out.
It was eerily disgusting at first.
But after awhile i got spiders, praying mantis and ants all over my body that i just slap myself whenever i feel something move.

We finally got tired of plucking and decided to bring the whole tree down.

So i watched the dark knight again with dan jacq and hani.

So I watched The Dark Knight this morning.
I'll give it an 8/10.
It is exciting, good plot and etc.
Being a DC fan, I look towards the characters and I'm not disappointed.

The Batman is portrayed perfectly.
One would expect Batman to be a master of handtohand combat.
But seeing this was supposedly his first year at crimefighting, he has his obvious flaws.
And character flaws too.

The Joker on the other hand, disappoints to a certain extent.
He is as good as the media says.
Better than Jack Nicholson and will probably be better than anyone.
He doesnt disappoint The Joker in the movies.
But somehow i expect a lot better.
Since I read the comics and the Joker there is perfect.
But Heath is as close as perfect can get.

The story also addressed the future relationship of the Joker and Batman.
On how the Joker can not live without the Batman and how the Bat can never kil the Joker.
I think it is pure genius to address this important point.

And after I got back home,
the season finale eps of avatar were released.
Happy days.

Singapore International Water Week Ends!

So yesterday was the last day of the SIWW attachment.
It wasnt an interesting exhibition to start off with.
But it was the fact that we could all get away from school.
It was also the place where everyone showed their true colours.

I saw some hardworking ones, some lazy ones.
Some bo-chap ones, some assholic ones.
Some who tries too hard, some who dont try at all.
I finally saw their real behavior under pressure for 3 days.

Nevertheless it was a good experience.

Now, birthday tmr!
Once I turn 18, I can finally laugh off the HSA.
I've been avoiding them for 4 years.

I just realised that:
William Beckett has a very good voice.
Good as in no-vibrato kind of good.
The way he controls his pitch at high notes.

Anyway...
My band finally agreed on a genre.
It's a take on to the unknown.
Because we mix disco + dance + punk.
Which means: DISCO DANCE PUNK.
This also means we have to recruit one more person.
Full time on drum machine and synth.
We are on the process on writing a song.
And I'm glad when I say "WE" because I have no experience whatsoever in dance.
The lyrics are halfway there.
After it's completed, we will fit it in with the sounds.
The whole process should take a few months since we are new to the genre.
Anyway, we can't concentrate on it full time since we have welcome tea coming soon.

On that note, we are doing our last few covers for this year.
And originals all the way after that.
Two of the covers are Guilty Pleasure from Cobra starship
And Beat it by Fall Out Boy.

Anyway, school has been good lately.
My class plays CS now.
Trying to get them to play Star wars lol.
I have only skipped one day this semester.
